I met Mun Keat in Philippines

Last week, I flew from Taiwan to Manila with my boss for business visit. I was there for a night and to my surprise, Mun Keat happened to be in the country as I am at the same time!

I stayed in Makati Shangri-La Hotel and I happened to have 2 hours break before dinner appointment. I rang MK up immediately and I got him at the right time as he was just wrapping up his day.

“Hello BRO! Welcome to MANILA!!!!”…..

About an hour later, I was enjoying San Miguel beers with my school mate buddy in Makati Hard Rock Cafe. The place was just a stone throw away from my hotel. I sent a message to Valerie telling her my where about and she replied, “YUM SENG TO YOU GUYS!”. With a yum seng cheers all the way from Tianjin, China, we knocked down another bottle of San Miguel.

My boss buzzed me at 7.30pm sharp and I dived back to the hotel.

It was a relatively short meet up - lasted less than an hour but it’s really great to meet a familiar face in a foreign country.

It’s a small world after all….

I will be in Shenzhen, China next week. Anybody going there?
